I'm not sure about you, but I've personally been spending my free time this week researching every single detail about the cast members of Squid Game [2]. Said deep dive naturally led me to watch their recent appearance on The Tonight Show [3], which revealed some adorable inside scoop on Park Hae-soo's growing family. The 39-year-old actor, who plays the role of Cho Sang-woo in the gripping series [4], told host Jimmy Fallon [5] how he and his wife welcomed their first child on the exact same day Squid Game [6] hit Netflix — talk about wild timing!

"It was quite amazing because the premiere of Squid Game was at 4 p.m. KST, and the first time I got to meet my son was at 3:50 p.m.," Hae-soo said. "He is my lucky charm and a bundle of blessing for me."

He added that many of his friends have already given his son a precious nickname that honours the miraculous timing of his arrival: Baby Squid. Aww! Watch Hae-soo chat about his newborn among other topics in the full interview ahead.
