We're guessing the parenting-slash-golf motto Tiger Woods abides by is "start 'em young and hit 'em straight." On Dec. 17, the professional golfer and doting dad took to the driving range to warm up with his 11-year-old son, Charlie, before the 2020 PNC Championship, and it totally felt like we were seeing double. The father-son tournament takes place every year, but it's the first one Charlie is participating in, and as the event's youngest-ever competitor, the highly anticipated duo are the main attraction.
From the moment Tiger and Charlie warmed up at the range, the expectations were high and the internet was in awe at their nearly identical swings. Starting with their backswing all the way to their followthrough, the two were in sync! Their adorable twinning moments carried through the rest of the morning as they practiced with different clubs. Just like Tiger's father mentored him and trained him to be the great that he is today, Tiger is passing down the sweet memories and traditions to his son.
"It's deepening our bond. It's not about anybody else. It's about us," Tiger said in an interview. "We can do this together for a lifetime . . . I like the thought of having that opportunity to play with him for as long as I live." And there's no better teacher than Tiger!
