A Little Girl Smeared Lipstick All Over Her Face as a "Surprise" For Her Mom, and How Thoughtful!

Sydney, a mother of three and blogger at Strollin' With My Homies, likes a well-thought-out surprise as much as the next mom, but preferably the ones that come in the forms of macaroni necklaces or flowers on Mother's Day. Recently, however, Sydney got a whole lot more than she bargained for when her daughter Sadie mentioned that her 2-year-old sister, Penelope, had to show her something. In a Facebook post, Sydney shared just what the special surprise was, and it's one for the books.

The clip starts with Sydney walking into the bedroom, where she spots Penelope covered in $30 worth of Becca red lipstick. While our hearts break for the perfectly good tube of lipstick gone to waste, we have to admit it was certainly Pen's shade. Apparently, Sydney agreed, as is evidenced in the photo ahead. "We let her rock it the rest of the day because she was too proud of it," Sydney told POPSUGAR. Watch until the end for a good laugh. It doesn't get much cuter than this!
