It's no secret that mail carriers spend a lot of time on their feet. Get together a few items — like chips, water, soda, and granola bars — and place it on the porch or near the front door. They'll be appreciative for what we can only assume is a much-needed pick me up!

Have you had the same mail carrier for a few years? Let them know how much their work means to you by writing a letter thanking them for their service.

It doesn't take much to show thanks! Even a $10 gift card to Starbucks or Amazon will likely bring a smile to their face.
