What to Do With Kids at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival

Here's Exactly What to Do With Kids at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival has tons of family-friendly activities, for kids of all ages. Though it's usually thought of as Disney World's "adult" event each year, but there's so much for kids and families to do together! While the adults can continue to eat and drink around Epcot's World Showcase now through Nov. 23, kids will love trying out new foods, doing the new cheese crawl, finding Remy from Ratatouille, and making their own sweet candy sushi. You might even come out of Epcot with a new little foodie in your family! Keep reading to find out everything families can do this year at Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival.

Make Candy Sushi as a Family

Every day inside The Land pavilion at Epcot, families can enjoy the air conditioning and make some of their very own candy sushi! This is a great activity for kids to get creative with their food and learn how to make a sushi look-a-like — all out of candy. The event is $10 for each person participating and kids get to take their newly made snack with them.

Discover New Cheeses With Emile’s Fromage Montage

Remember Remy from Ratatouille has a brother named Emile? Well, he's taking kids on a super yummy cheese tour all around Epcot! To do the tour, all your family needs to do is grab a free Festival Passport and try out five of the cheeses from the designated list. When you purchase a cheese, you get your passport stamped. After you get five stamps, your family can take the passport to the Shimmering Sips Global Marketplace to get a complimentary cheesecake!

The nice thing about this tour is that it can be done at your own pace, in one day or over multiple days at Epcot. No need to overwhelm your kids with dairy!

Check Out the Eat to the Beat Concert Series

Each night of the festival there is a concert from bands and musicians from through the decades. While parents will love reliving the past (check out 98 Degrees on Oct 7 through 9!), kids can dance to the music, or just have a few minutes to sit and chill out over what's sure to be a long but very fun day at Epcot. The bands change every few days so be sure to check out who's going to be at the concert before you go.
