Meghan Markle [1] and Prince Harry shared that they would be welcoming a baby girl [2] this summer in a candid interview with Oprah Winfrey [3], which aired on CBS on 7 March in the US, and on ITV on 8 March in the UK. Although Meghan didn't give a specific due date, she shared that they'll officially become a family of four at some point during the summer.
The pair announced that they were expecting their second child on Valentine's Day [4], nearly seven months after Meghan experienced pregnancy loss. [5] When asked about seeing the ultrasound for the first time, Harry said that it was "amazing" and that he's "just grateful." He continued: "To have any child, any one or any two, would be amazing, but to have a boy and then a girl, what more can you ask for? Now we've got our family. We've got the four of us and our two dogs, and it's great."
According to Meghan, two children will complete their family. When Oprah asked if she wanted more kids, she matter-of-factly responded "two is it." The 39-year-old actress also said that the most important title she will ever have is "Mom."
