Photos of Service Dogs at Disneyland 2018

Pluto WHO?! These Service Dogs Had a Disneyland Day, and the Photos Are Too Pure

Forget everything you thought you knew about "the happiest place on Earth" because a group of service dogs had a special outing at Disneyland that infused the park with a whole new level of adorable. The "aww"-inducing pack of hardworking puppies are representatives of Canine Companions For Independence, which does the incredibly important work of providing assistance dogs to human partners, free of charge. Complete with their own mouse ears — including the viral rose gold version — the pups and their respective humans explored all over the park, met iconic Disney characters, and snapped tons of ridiculously cute photos.

One picture of the March 2018 "service dog field trip" went completely viral on Twitter, with more than 275K "likes" and nearly 100K retweets at press time. The onslaught of delighted responses from Disney fans and dog-lovers encouraged the service animals' handlers to share even more photos of the puppy play date, and each set of pictures is even more delightful than the last.

The service dog day at Disneyland isn't just material for making you happy-cry, though. According to Hello Giggles, Disneyland's excessive sights, sounds, and smells make for an incredible training ground for the service animals, which need to be focussed on helping their owners 24/7 . . . even during chaotic situations. (That doesn't mean you can't set one of these photos as your phone background, though!)

Try to contain your squeals of delight as you scroll through these photos of the VIPs ("very important puppies") taking over Disneyland. Doesn't every dedicated worker deserve a day to let loose and have fun?
