This Insane Robot Restaurant in Tokyo Is Like an EDM Show With Dancers and Dinner All in One
When we say dinner and a show, we bet you're not imagining a scene quite like this one. If you're ever in Tokyo, don't leave without checking out the Robot Restaurant in Shinjuku, the wildest dining experience you'll ever have in your life. For 8,000 yen (or £55), you'll get to see a light show, an EDM concert, robot battles, and bikini-clad dancers all while you eat for an hour and a half. It's such an overwhelming environment that it warns you on its website.
On top of the admission fee, you have to pay a small price of £6 to £10 for the actual dinner, which you can choose between sushi, a marinated beef bento box, or a grilled beef bento box. Guests should reserve their spots online to guarantee entrance and arrive 30 minutes before the start of the show.
The restaurant's dress code is also strangely particular. Just in case you're a "crime organisation member" or drunk at the time, you won't be allowed in. You'll need to cover up any visible tattoos and leave your sunglasses and large wigs at home.
