How to Have the Best Day Ever at Disney World — Alone!

There's a monorail loop that goes from the Ticket and Transportation Centre outside of Magic Kingdom to Epcot and back. It's a fun ride with great views of Walt Disney World.

Characters aren't just for kids. Stop and see your favourite and grab a photo. Cast members working each line are always happy to take your photos for you.

You can usually get a decent spot for Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom as a party of one just before the parade starts. So go ride all your favourite rides and line up just before the parade starts at 3 p.m.

There's a 3D show, "It's Tough to Be a Bug," inside The Tree of Life. This is a great place to sit and cool off.

Skip the parks in the afternoon and head to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa for high tea. You're going to want to make a reservation, but it's worth it!

In some of the pavilions in World Showcase at Epcot, there are films about the country. Stop in to watch them and learn something new.

Magic Kingdom is filled with classic Disney attractions. Grab a Fastpass and check one of them out, like Peter Pan's Flight in Fantasyland.

You've seen the delicious-looking snacks on Instagram — like this Nutella and fruit waffle at Magic Kingdom — and now it's time to try them for yourself! Eat as much as you want because calories don't count at Disney.

There are so many trails and offshoots to explore at Animal Kingdom. This is a great way to get out of the crowds and check out the animals.

Getting out before the crowds is easier when you're a party of one. Head to Magic Kingdom for the opening show and explore a semi-empty park.
