Gemini (May 21-June 20)
When do your friends call you? Not when they want to go to the ballet or when they need an honest opinion. "They call when they want to get in trouble," Narayana said. "But being a party animal is not your only problem — being flighty and two-faced is, especially when it comes to friendship." While you're super fun and chatty, you're also not consistent or reliable.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
When it comes to friendship, you give, you listen, and you're always there for your friends, but sometimes it's too much to handle. "Your sign's biggest struggle is respecting boundaries," she said. "Merging is your nature — just be aware that some people really care about privacy."
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You are hip and can get attention easily, but very soon into your relationships, your friends might notice that they can't totally trust you. The reason? "You have projection issues," Narayana explained. "And unfortunately, you don't only project on your friends, you do it to your colleagues and also your family."
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Charismatic, fun, and warm, a Leo has some big personality and can be awesome to hang with. Yet those never-ending talks about your life, your problems, and, well, more things about yourself make it hard for friends to see the relationship as a two-way street. "Getting off the stage once in a while would definitely be one of the healthiest things you can do for your friendships," she said.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You're witty, smart, quirky, and cool, but you can also be a bit cold at times. "You're the kind of friend that finds it really easy to detach," Narayana said. "Just when people think they're getting to know you, they realise you're not only eccentric and extreme, but also aloof."
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
The word "perfection" was most likely invented by a Virgo, and sometimes that can be off-putting to a friend who is looking for support rather than criticism. "While this nitpicky attitude scores you points and raises at work, it also scares people away, including possible friends and even partners," she warned.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Yes, you can be dark and intense, but you're also a good and committed friend. There's true loyalty when you're with a Scorpio. "The one thing to look out for would be holding grudges," Narayana said. "People make mistakes, and guess what? They will keep making them. So forgive and forget."
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You've got quite the temper, Aries. "It's as if people could hear your blood boiling when things don't go your way," she said. Exercise, meditation, and lots of breathing techniques will keep the anger away and your friends closer.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
As a Sagittarius, you need constant stimulation, so you might jump from one friend to the next. "Since committing to long-term friendships isn't your jam, just try to not leave too many of them high and dry," she said. Or think of new things you can do together to keep things interesting.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
As a fixed sign, you're pretty stubborn, which can be hard for others to deal with. Luckily, your friends noticed that about you right from the get-go, and they're cool with it. "Good thing you're so dependable and such a good cook — that definitely helps," Narayana said.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You're classy, successful, and interesting, but success has a price, and for you, that price is friendship. "You're too busy claiming one victory after another," she revealed. "Just remember that once you get to the top, the view is not as good when you're all alone."
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Private and homey, you don't have a lot of friends, but the ones you have are "forever friends," and you treat them pretty damn well. "As scary as it may seem to open up to people, relationships are the spice of life," Narayana said. "Don't miss out on them; they can teach you so much about the world . . . and even yourself."
