Disney's thrilling Star Wars-themed land is gradually getting closer to being "cleared for arrival." After previously sharing drone footage of the land's extensive construction, Disney has now released the opening dates for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. The land will finally open at Disneyland in Summer 2019 and Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios in Fall 2019.
Disney made the announcement with a mysterious video, which also essentially shared a rendering of what the land is intended to look like once it is completed. Though Disney has remained pretty mum on the details, we do know that each land will feature two attractions, one of which will allow guests to fly the Millennium Falcon and the other will be a more intense ride taking place inside the Star Destroyer. There will also be a cantina and plenty of characters running around the land, per usual at Disney.
