While I'm a professional shopper, and true beauty and fashion lover, I'm still a minimalist at heart. When it comes to packing, I'm a less is more type of girl, and to most people's surprise, pretty much only ever travel with a carry-on suitcase. It's easy for me to cut down on sweaters and jeans, but the one area I would always overpack in was my cosmetics. The smart capsule system is obviously cute and eye-catching, but the design has made my life so much easier. Each one is the perfect size to fit all my must-have products that range from cleanser to serum, and my shampoo and conditioner. While using those for my traditional liquids was helpful, it went beyond just that, too. I started using the capsules for vitamins, jewellery, and even my hand lotion. This meant that my bag was suddenly filled with so many less little bottles and baggies, and just a handful of these tiny pods.

My favourite feature: you can name each capsule. I opted for traditional names, but you can create your own, or even use emojis. Plus, they come in an assortment of fun shades, so you can even colour-coordinate your things. While I love mine for travelling, a few have ended up in my everyday bag, too.

Are the Capsules Magnetic?
The smart capsules are made with both magnetic sides and tops, so you'll never lose or drop them. Not only do they stick together easily, as you can see from my video, but the tops also stick to the side of the capsule. This ensures you won't drop your the tops on the floor, which I'm guilty of.
How Deep Are the Capsules?
The capsules have a uniquely deep design that help you get the maximum amount of space in a jam-packed genius design. I particularly love the wide openings at the top, which makes finger scooping and grabbing product easy. It also makes it easy to fit larger items in there like vitamins or even jewwlery like rings.
How Much Do the Capsules Hold?
Small but mighty, each capsule is equivalent to one travel size TSA bottle that you can buy at your local drugstore. Made with a more short, then tall design, you might not see it, but it's spacious! Each one holds approximately one to two weeks worth of skin-care products.
For me, this depends. I use a lot of moisturiser, so I would fill two with my favourite cream for a 10-day trip. For the same amount of time, when it comes to my face wash, which I'm more sparingly with, I would use just one capsule.
