OK, 2020 was not great — and we are READY for ya, 2021 — but even during this sh*tstorm of a year, it wasn't all bad. We picked up new hobbies, we slowed down, we learned to appreciate what really matters, we realised what (or who) we could cut loose, and we now know just how invaluable a good pair of comfortable leggings are. "This past year has brought me closer to my extended family. We have a group text going with my in-laws, sisters-in-law and brothers-in law, and their significant others. We text each other random updates throughout the week, like pictures of what we're all cooking for dinner, memes that made us laugh, and snapshots of the kids. Scheduling happy hours with couples (i.e. brothers and wives/best friend and spouse) after the kids have gone to bed has also been a fun way to break up the night time monotony and engage socially instead of zoning out in front of the TV." — Angela Elias, director, Family and Pets

"My friends all had quarantine birthdays, and while we were all in different states (literally), these ended up being some of the most memorable celebrations of all. I dusted off my high school iMovie skills and created surprise videos for all of them featuring their family and friends. I created montages of pictures, video clips, and silly memes to the tunes of Katy Perry's 'Birthday' and Shakira's 'Hips Don't Lie,' to name a few.
