To Diagon Alley! There's a Giant Harry Potter Flagship Store Coming to NYC

It's times like this when I need Hermione Granger here to smack some sense into me, because I'm preparing to blow all my savings at the new Harry Potter store coming to New York City. As the first official Harry Potter flagship location, the three-story shop will take up 20,000 square feet of space and have all the makings of your traditional Diagon Alley locale, adding a little bit of magic to the muggle world. Does anyone else feel like they just won the Quidditch World Cup?

Set to open in Summer 2020, the store — which will be located next to NYC's iconic Flatiron building at 935 Broadway — will hold the largest collection of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts products in the world. Items will include personalized robes, all of our favourite Honeydukes treats (yep, including Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans!), and a new range of house wands exclusive to the NYC location, according to a press release. If anyone's looking for me this Summer, you know exactly where to find me. Here's to hoping I have enough floo powder to make the dozens of trips it's going to take me to carry everything home.
