Multipurpose Safari at the Mole National Park
Book a flight from London to Accra, Ghana, for £500. Once you're there, head to the Mole National Park where you can stay at the Zaine Lodge for £60 per night or at the Mole Motel in the heart of the park, with prices starting at £30 per night.
Go on an adventurous foot safari and see firsthand the different species of birds, antelopes, elephants, baboons, buffalo, and monkeys. The two-hour trip runs in the morning and early afternoon.
If you are up to getting a glimpse of more wildlife and want to cover a larger distance, jump in a jeep for a driver safari lasting two hours. Choose a night safari involving a trip from the information centre into the wild and get the rare opportunity to witness nocturnal wild animals. It’s not as scary as it sounds! The journey begins at 6 p.m. and lasts only an hour while you have the choice to witness animals like buffalo, hyenas, antelopes, leopards, elephants, and hartebeest, all from the comfort of a jeep. The most enchanting experience has to be the Tree Hide, which provides a viewing platform built on a strong tree and viewing the nocturnal wildlife while the animals visit the closest saltlick (a place where animals go to lick salt from the ground). During the overnight stay, you will hear over a hundred birds chirping as well as cries from hyenas and baboons.
