United Airlines Is Offering Vaccinated Travellers Free Flights For a Year — Here's How to Win
United Airlines just announced a new sweepstakes, and it's a jetsetter's dream. The airline company is offering a new incentive to get people vaccinated (and show support for those who already are!) by offering all new or existing MileagePlus members a chance to win free flights for up to a year. The Your Shot to Fly sweepstakes is the first of its kind in the the airline industry, and it's getting vaccinated travellers excited for post-pandemic getaways. United has also added more dream destinations to its list with brand-new routes to Croatia, Greece, and Iceland, and it has resumed flights to Italy, Portugal, Spain, and France.
If you're ready to take your travels to new heights, here's how to enter to win. From now until June 22, vaccinated travellers just have to upload proof of vaccination to United.com or through the United app. As for eligibility, you must be a US resident that's 18 years or older as well as a MileagePlus member who has received at least one vaccine shot. If you are unable to receive the COVID-19 vaccine or upload information for medical or privacy reasons, you may still be eligible to enter the sweepstakes if you upload an affidavit that explains your ineligibility to receive the vaccine. The first of the two giveaways offers 30 travellers the chance to win a roundtrip flight for two in any class of service to anywhere in the world that United flies. Additionally, five lucky winners will be randomly selected for the grand prize which is one year of free travel anywhere around the world that United flies in any cabin for themselves and a companion.
