Candace Payne is still having the time of her life. Just a few days after more than 141 million people watched her try on a Chewbacca mask, she got to drive James Corden to work in a sketch for The Late Late Show. At first, James is a little irked that she's still laughing about the mask — until J.J. Abrams pops out and gives her some director's notes to take it to the next level. Soon enough, the three of them can't stop laughing at the Chewbacca mask. Watch it above.
Payne later joins James on the show to talk about the video. Payne's sole reason for posting the video in the first place? "I wanted to prove to my Facebook friends and family that the mask was mine," she said. James also shares with her a clip of when she first met J.J. Abrams, reacting as anyone would — dumbstruck and amazed. That's not where the surprises end. Peter Mayhew, the actor who plays Chewbacca in the Star Wars films, writes her a note inviting her family to a private meet and greet at the Dallas Fan Expo. Watch the video below.
We hope this surprise and the previous one from Kohl's doesn't end here for Payne. She deserves so much more for making the world laugh with her.
