TikTok can take us down some scary rabbit holes, and this recent one took me down with a vengeance. In the nick of time for the spooky season, TikTok's Cursed Effect has taken over the platform, leaving me with permanent nightmares until hopefully Oct. 31 hits (thanks, TikTok). The effect casts a haunted filter that looks straight out of a horror movie, and the glowing eyes take it to a whole new terrifying level. The eyes show up over any set of eyes — dog, cat, person, or ghost — and people are finding eyes in random corners of their homes . . . now do you see why this filter will haunt me in my sleep?
