Back in 2019, Apple unveiled the iOS 13 update, which allowed iPhone users to put their phones in Dark Mode. This feature is great for viewing the screen in low-light environments as it lessens the strain on the eyes. To get Dark Mode on your phone, simply go to "Settings" and then tap "Display & Brightness." From there, select "Dark" to turn on Dark Mode. But what if you want to put specific apps, namely TikTok, in Dark Mode? There's an easy way to do that, too!
First, make sure that both your phone and TikTok are updated to the latest versions. Then open the TikTok app, and go to your profile. From there, tap the three dots in the upper right-hand corner to open the settings page. Once you see the words "Dark Mode," toggle the button to turn it on. Easy as that! Now the standard white (and bright) phone display will change to a darker colour scheme, making it easier on the eyes and perfect for low-light environments — as well as TikTok binges. The only catch is that this currently only works on iPhones, so Android users have to wait for an official rollout date for this TikTok feature, which has yet to be announced.
