The Best Highlights From the 2013 Golden Globes!

The 2013 Golden Globes were full of excitement and emotion in LA on Sunday night.

The 2013 Golden Globes were full of excitement and emotion in LA on Sunday night. Hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler kept the evening light with their jokes and antics, like Amy nuzzling with George Clooney in the audience and the two of them likening Kathryn Bigelow's short-lived marriage to James Cameron to "torture." Other stars also got some big laughs as well, including presenter Aziz Ansari, who pretended to be stoned from Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery's weed cookies. Sacha Baron Cohen gave a mini roast of his Les Misérables costars, when he joked about Anne Hathaway's infamous upskirt incident and sarcastically remarked that Russell Crowe's singing lessons in preparation for the film was "money well spent." Jodie Foster came out while accepting her Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award, moving many attendees to tears.

The show was also full of some big, surprising wins. Ben Affleck nabbed best director for Argo after getting shut out of the category for the Oscar nominations on Thursday, and Argo also won best drama motion picture over Lincoln. Hugh Jackman picked up the best actor in a comedy or musical honor, beating out favorite Bradley Cooper. Most winners broke down into happy tears while accepting their awards, including Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, and Lena Dunham. Lena got particularly emotional while admitting that she had looked up to her fellow best actress nominees when she was younger and that they helped her get through awkward moments. Always quick to add a joke, nominees Tina and Amy joked that they were happy they could get the young Lena "through middle school." Make sure to check out the full list of Golden Globes winners and weigh in on your favorite styles in our red-carpet fashion and beauty polls.

Jennifer joked, "[Robert] never let his career get in the way of his commitment to hard-core, classic Grade A drugs." Justin Theroux, who dined next to Jen at the event, also shares a connection to Robert, having penned the scripts for Tropic Thunder and Iron Man 2. Robert stopped by Jen and Justin's table to pose for a photo, but RDJ also stuck beside his wife and mom-to-be, Susan Downey. It's been an exciting week for Robert. In addition to last night's party, the first trailer for The Avengers was released.

Bar Refaeli stepped out in a Roberto Cavalli gown alongside her fellow supermodel Naomi Campbell at today's Cannes Film Festival premiere of The Beaver. Bar's not letting her recent split from Leonardo DiCaprio put a damper on her fun, as she also stepped out for last night's Chopard party. Leo, meanwhile, has been spotted cozying up to Blake Lively aboard Steven Spielberg's yacht. New mom and Victoria's Secret Angel Doutzen Kroes left her baby boy, Phyllon, at home to walk the red carpet on the arm of her husband, Sunnery James. The stars of the film, Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster, arrived hand in hand for the debut of their controversial dark comedy. Mel Gibson started his day shirtless during a smoke break outside his hotel room but suited up for his return to the red carpet. Jodie has been handling most of the movie's promotional duties by herself so far, but it seems she and Mel are teaming up for one last publicity push before the flick's Friday release.

The fashion set headed to Paris yesterday to take in the haute couture shows. Kate Moss had a giggle in the front row with Monaco royalty Charlotte Casiraghi and Stefano Pilati at the Etam lingerie show. Her man Jamie Hince performed on stage with his The Kills bandmate Alison Mosshart, and Kate and Jamie then hit the town. Beth Ditto, Karen Elson, and Boy George also provided the entertainment. Kate and Jamie were in Paris weekend before last to celebrate her 37th birthday before heading back to London for more good times. Alexa Chung, who sat with Lou Dillon at the Etam show, was sporting a darker look: BellaUK wants to know which hair colour do you prefer on Alexa? Over at the Giorgio Armani Prive show, Olivia Wilde posed with Jodie Foster, and there was also a Christian Dior show.

Mila Kunis has been promoting Black Swan at the LFF with costar Vincent Cassel, but is back in LA now and looked hot at last night's awards in her LBD. Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger presented Sylvester Stallone's career achievement award, and had fun in the press room afterwards. James Franco enjoyed a casual night out earlier this week with Danny Boyle, but last night he was suited up for the ceremony, while Justin Timberlake left early to support Jessica Biel at the Glamour Reel Moments event.

Jodie Foster

Kate Winslet to Star in Roman Polanski's Next Film

How's this for a dream team: for his next film, God of Carnage, Roman Polanski has recruited Oscar winners Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz, and Jodie Foster.

How's this for a dream team: for his next film, God of Carnage, Roman Polanski has recruited Oscar winners Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz, and Jodie Foster. Oh, and Matt Dillon. The big-screen adaptation of Yasmina Reza's play follows two sets of parents whose worlds collide when their sons get into a fight at school. The meeting at school goes awry when the couples begin attacking each other's parenting skills, and eventually marital problems come under scrutiny. The play is set in Brooklyn, but filming will take place in Paris due to Polanski's, um, legal issues.
