Jessica Chastain arrived in Cannes over the weekend and she has already made a splash on the party circuit. She attended a Chanel and Vanity Fair dinner last night, alongside stars James Franco, Milla Jovovich, and Paz Vega. James stopped by the dinner after hosting a party in honor of his ex-girlfriend Ahna O'Reilly on a yacht earlier in the day. Ahna costars alongside James in his directorial debut, As I Lay Dying, which is premiering tonight at the festival.

As for Jessica, she is in the South of France to promote the 50th anniversary of Cleopatra. She will host a special screening of the newly restored project tomorrow and will also wear the famous emerald and diamond necklace Richard Burton gave to Elizabeth Taylor during the production of the film. Jessica stopped over in Cannes after wrapping up filming for her latest project, Miss Julie, in Ireland. Jessica posted photos of her visit to Ireland on her Facebook page, noting that it was "tough to say goodbye" to the Emerald Isle.

Vanity Fair Goes Behind the Scenes of Brad Pitt's Troubled World War Z

Brad Pitt covers the June issue of Vanity Fair, which will be out on newsstands and digitally across the country on May 7.

Brad Pitt covers the June issue of Vanity Fair, which will be out on newsstands and digitally across the country on May 7. Inside the issue, various executives from Paramount, the studio behind his June 21 release, World War Z, talk about their much-publicized production difficulties. Among their troubles were a budget that spiraled to $200 million and having to make the tough decision to reshoot 40 minutes of the film.

Brad doesn't appear to be quoted directly in the piece, but screenwriter Damon Lindelof conveyed the actor's enthusiasm for making World War Z. Damon said, "[Brad] took me through how excited he was when he read the book, what was exciting for him, the geopolitical aspect of it. . . . But when we started working on the script, a lot of that stuff had to fall away for the story to come together. We started shooting the thing before we locked down how it was going to end up, and it didn’t turn out the way we wanted it to. My sense of it was he was taking responsibility." Sienna Miller wore a Topshop dress and held hands with her future sister-in-law, Matilda Sturridge, when the two attended Vanity Fair's Tribeca Film Festival party in NYC last night.

Sienna Miller wore a Topshop dress and held hands with her future sister-in-law, Matilda Sturridge, when the two attended Vanity Fair's Tribeca Film Festival party in NYC last night. Sienna's night out with Matilda comes after a day out with Tom Sturridge in Manhattan earlier this week. The couple squeezed in a bit of alone time following a weekend with their daughter, Marlowe.

Sienna and Matilda were joined at the event by Evan Rachel Wood, who cradled her baby bump in a black flowing dress. Evan vented about attending the star-studded bash while being with child since she couldn't partake in any of the booze-related festivities. She tweeted, "I love that I am going to a cocktail party tonight, but I can't have any cocktails. It's like a birthday with no cake." Also on hand at the fashionable fete was model Karolina Kurkova, TFF fixture Robert De Niro, and Whoopi Goldberg.

Taylor Swift Reveals the Truth About Her Love Life in Vanity Fair

Taylor Swift opens up about her infamous love life in the April edition of Vanity Fair, which hits newsstands on March 7.

Taylor Swift opens up about her infamous love life in the April edition of Vanity Fair, which hits newsstands on March 7. She poses with her guitar in the windswept cover and reveals to Vanity Fair contributing editor Nancy Jo Sales that she finds it sexist that people slam her for writing music about her romantic past. Taylor also goes on to talk about her alleged string of boyfriends and her response to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's Golden Globes joke back in January. Read on for more from Taylor Swift in Vanity Fair.

  • On her many rumored boyfriends: "If you want some big revelation, since 2010 I have dated exactly two people. [Meaning Conor Kennedy and Harry Styles.] The fact that there are slide shows of a dozen guys that I either hugged on a red carpet or met for lunch or wrote a song with. . . it's just kind of ridiculous."
  • On her reputation for writing love songs: "For a female to write about her feelings, and then be portrayed as some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend in need of making you marry her and have kids with her, I think that's taking something that potentially should be celebrated — a woman writing about her feelings in a confessional way — that's taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexist."
  • On Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's Golden Globes joke: "You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, 'There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women.'"

Jennifer Lawrence Talks "Stupid" Acting and Meeting Idols in Vanity Fair

Jennifer Lawrence posed for photographer Ellen von Unwerth for the cover of Vanity Fair's February issue.

Jennifer Lawrence posed for photographer Ellen von Unwerth for the cover of Vanity Fair's February issue. Inside the pages, she showed skin in a crop top and talked about her acting career. Jennifer's been working on Catching Fire in Hawaii recently while her current film, Silver Linings Playbook, continues to get rave reviews and award season buzz. She'll switch gears to the small screen later this month, though, when she hosts Saturday Night Live. Here's more from Jennifer Lawrence in Vanity Fair:

    • On having a bow and arrow at home: "One time I actually used it for defense. I pulled into my garage and I heard men in my house. And I was like, 'I'm not letting them take my stuff.' I had just gotten back from training, so I had the bow and arrows in the back of my car. I went to my car and I put this quiver on me and I had my bow and I loaded it and I'm walking up the stairs. And I look, and my patio doors were open, and there were guys working right there, and I was like, 'Heyyy, how you doin'?'"
    • On acting: "Not to sound rude, but [acting] is stupid. Everybody's like, 'How can you remain with a level head?' And I'm like, 'Why would I ever get cocky? I'm not saving anybody's life. There are doctors who save lives and firemen who run into burning buildings. I'm making movies. It's stupid.'"
    • On meeting her idols: "Once I'm obsessed with somebody, I'm terrified of them instantly. I'm not scared of them — I'm scared of me and how I will react. Like, for instance, one time someone was introducing me to Bill Maher, and I saw Meryl Streep walk into the room, and I just stared at Meryl Streep. I just creepily stared at her."

Kate Moss on the "Years and Years of Crying" After Her Split From Johnny Depp

Kate Moss covers the December issue of Vanity Fair in a picture shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott.

Kate Moss covers the December issue of Vanity Fair in a picture shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott. She also did an interview with the publication, and touched on a number of topics the normally private supermodel shies away from. Kate spoke about her start in modeling, including being credited with starting the "heroin-chic" look. Kate talked about her split from Johnny Depp and what her life is like now, and she also hilariously defines for everyone what it means to get "Mossed." Here are highlights from Kate Moss in Vanity Fair

    • On being responsible for the "heroin-chic" look of the '90s: "I had never even taken heroin — it was nothing to do with me at all. I think [photographer Corinne Day], she wasn't on heroin but always loved that Lou Reed song, that whole glamorizing the squat, white-and-black and sparse and thin, and girls with dark eyes. She loved that look. I was thin, but that's because I was doing shows, working really hard. At that time, I was staying at a B and B in Milan, and you'd get home from work and there was no food. You'd get to work in the morning, there was no food. Nobody took you out for lunch when I started. Carla Bruni took me out for lunch once. She was really nice. Otherwise, you don't get fed. But I was never anorexic. They knew it wasn't true — otherwise I wouldn't be able to work."
    • On her romance with Johnny: "There's nobody that's ever really been able to take care of me. Johnny did for a bit. I believed what he said. Like if I said, 'What do I do?,' he'd tell me. And that's what I missed when I left. I really lost that gauge of somebody I could trust. Nightmare. Years and years of crying. Oh, the tears!"
    • Defining "Mossed": "People that don't know me get Mossed. It means, I was gonna go home, but then I just got led astray. In the best possible way, of course. I mean, it's always fun, and a good time."
    • On her newfound stability: "I don't really go to clubs anymore. I'm actually quite settled. Living in Highgate with my dog and my husband and my daughter! I'm not a hell-raiser. But don't burst the bubble. Behind closed doors, for sure I'm a hell-raiser."
