As a tribute to her grandmother, Kylie Jenner got her name, Mary Jo, inked on her arm in her grandfather's handwriting.

Kylie Jenner inked a small heart above her elbow shortly after turning 18 years old back in 2015. She captioned the photo "Red," which was the colour of her first few tattoos.

Kylie Jenner treated herself to a tattoo of the word "Sanity" written out phonetically in red ink across her right hip in 2015. "I just like the word 'Sanity' — just stay sane through it all," Jenner said to V Magazine regarding the text. "A lot of young stars who grow up in the spotlight have a really hard time. I didn't want that to be me."

Kylie Jenner got a matching tattoo of a scripted "M" on her pinky with Jordyn Woods in 2016. According to People, neither Jenner nor Woods ever publicly disclosed why they got this image inked onto their fingers.
