Doja Cat debuted a whole new look for her 2022 Super Bowl commercial: purple hair. The singer switched up her dark brown hair [2] for a rich, amethyst-purple shade [3] for her circus-themed video campaign with Taco Bell. Who knew that the brand's logo could inspire such a stunning hair transformation [4]?

Although the change-up was only temporary and came by the way of a long, voluminous wig, the deep purple looks like it was made for Doja. Her hairstylist Jared Henderson [5], also known as JStayReady on Instagram, created the bold style for her using Joico hair-dye products. "We went purple 😈 And of course I used my @joico colour intensity to give me the perfect shade," Henderson captioned [6] a gallery on the social media app. To get the vibrant colour, he used the Joico Colour Intensity in Amethyst Purple [7] (£14) first, followed by the shade Lilac on a 22-inch platinum-blond wig.
