As cheesy as it may sound, pizza can make a straight up terrifying Halloween costume [3] if it's done right, and Vanessa Davis, aka @the_wigs_and_makeup_manager [4] on Instagram, already has me seeing nightmares of sentient pizza slices with her trippy food-inspired makeup tutorial — I consider that a job well baked done.
Davis begins by applying gel pads under her eyes [5] and gluing her eyebrows down. Then the real magic begins. With the help of some cardboard (to create the perfect crust), paintbrushes, glue, and a lot of modelling clay, she transforms herself into an ooey gooey, undead pizza slice that has me questioning whether I should run or reach for some parmesan.
