If just reading the word "pizza" is making you hungry right now, then you might want to consider being a deep dish with extra pepperoni this Halloween, sauce and all. As cheesy as it may sound, pizza can make a straight up terrifying Halloween costume if it's done right, and Vanessa Davis, aka @the_wigs_and_makeup_manager on Instagram, already has me seeing nightmares of sentient pizza slices with her trippy food-inspired makeup tutorial — I consider that a job well baked done.

Davis begins by applying gel pads under her eyes and gluing her eyebrows down. Then the real magic begins. With the help of some cardboard (to create the perfect crust), paintbrushes, glue, and a lot of modelling clay, she transforms herself into an ooey gooey, undead pizza slice that has me questioning whether I should run or reach for some parmesan.

To create the look, Davis uses a range of beauty products, including Huda Beauty's Easy Bake Powder in Sugar Cookie ($34), Make Up For Ever's Colour Airbrush ($36) (in yellow, white, dark red, and black), Urban Decay's All-Nighter Setting Spray ($33), Sugarpill's Pressed Eyeshadows ($13) (in Buttercupcake, Flamepoint, Text Me, Tako, and Bulletproof), Makeup Brushes from Morphe Brushes, and Hakuhodo's Fine Liner Makeup Brush ($13). That's one beat slice of pizza.

Take a closer look at Davis's cheese-tastic makeup and a few other pizza-inspired Halloween looks ahead, including pizza lips and heart-shaped pizza eye shadow.
