Get ready to start seeing some fall beauty inspiration hit your social media feeds. On 6 Aug., Megan Fox [2]'s go-to manicurist Brittney Boyce [3] posted a picture of the actor's latest spiderweb-inspired set, and though it's still a little early, it feels like the perfect design for Halloween [4] and beyond.
Fox's extensions were filed into her signature long stiletto shape [5]. After an initial sheer pink base colour [6] was applied, a deeper fuchsia shade was used to create an aura design [7] in the middle of each finger. Instead of stopping there, a thick spiderweb design was painted on top in a deep burgundy shade.
Spiderweb designs are a fun, seasonal twist on the viral textured nail trend [8] that has been everywhere over the last few months. From water droplet [9], liquid molten [10], and even sweater-print designs, the trend is a perfect way to take your basic manicure up a notch. Though the official start of fall is still a few weeks away, Fox's manicure is a masterclass in wearable Halloween nail art [11] — especially for people who like nails that work double time as a seasonal beauty statement and a bad b*tch signal.
