We first noticed the singer's new look during a SiriusXM interview [5]; she later shared a mirror selfie of her haircut on Instagram. For a style rooted in nostalgia, it looks magnificently modern on Rodrigo.
Curtain bangs can certainly vary in look and drama. Rodrigo's bangs, for example, are closer to face-framing layers than the full textured fringe [6] we've seen on other stars. However, there's no denying where her stylist, Clayton Hawkins, drew inspiration from. He specifically called the look "'70s bangs" on his own Instagram — case closed, folks. It appears Hawkins also took Rodrigo's hair slightly darker in colour, neutralising her golden-brown ends [7]. A subtle, yet sweet, change.
