In my personal opinion, Owa Hair Wash wasn't life-changing as far as immediate results, but it gets the job done and saves the planet while doing it, which is good enough incentive for me.
When activated with water, the powder becomes a smooth lather that's similar to traditional liquid shampoo, which is important to me because I like a hat of bubbles on my head when I shampoo to really feel like it's working. Plus, a little powder goes a long way, so the 2-ounce bottle should last a while. After one wash with Owa, my hair felt clean and soft, and it didn't get too greasy or frizzy throughout the next hot Summer day. My only complaint would be the smell, which reminds me of a bland bar of soap — I like my hair to smell like I used a whole bottle of Herbal Essences and then rolled in a bed of flowers.
So, I won't be tossing my usual haircare routine just yet, but I will be packing Owa Hair Wash the next time I travel (or go camping, if I were to ever go camping).
