PS: For performances, do you do anything different with your hair and makeup than, say, a red carpet event?
PL: Yeah, I do it slightly different because, when I sing, I really eat the microphone; it's something I've always done and that won't ever change. When I first started out I tried singing [on stage] with bright red lipstick on and it just doesn't work; there are some pictures of me out there with red lipstick all over my face. So ever since that happened I avoid it and just focus on my eyes more, so that's why I love wearing lashes — tonight I'm wearing the Kiss Lash Couture Naked Drama Collection in Veil. It also makes sense because when you're performing, people are looking at your eyes so it's important to keep the focus on them; your mouth is hidden by the microphone.
