Afrocenchix was founded by Joycelyn and Rachael, who after meeting at university, shared their frustrations with products that claimed to be tailored for afro and natural hair but didn't live up to expectations. On a quest to find high quality, natural, and sustainably-sourced products without any luck, they created their own. After creating a hair oil in 2009 that quickly sold out at a community fair in Neasden, North West London, they set out on a mission to bring high-quality products that are kind to everyone (even those who are eczema-prone) and the planet.
