Mimicking the blue-toned backgrounds in Ahluwalia's autumn 2021 fashion film, makeup artist Bari Khalique used the Bari Khalique as a higlight and contour or sorts — smudging the shades on both high and low points of the models' faces, creating an abstract, almost Picasso-like effect.
