"Don't be put off by the pearlescent flecks because, as soon as it hits the skin, it diffuses into the most beautiful finish. I instantly noticed how soft and blurred my skin looked (especially under the eyes) and how the pearls intensified the desired light to the area. I wouldn't use this across my entire face to combat any oiliness, but it makes for the perfect brightening and light-reflecting powder under the eyes and across the high points of the face.
