Pinterest is supporting small businesses [1] for Earth Day with its new shop. The curated collection is in honour of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day and features hundreds of shoppable Pins [2] from 21 different sustainable and ethical small businesses based in the U.S — many of which are either family-owned or mission-driven and support local initiatives with every purchase.
Of those 21 companies, a handful of them make clean skin-care, makeup, and body-care products using all natural ingredients. The products are vegan and cruelty-free certified, as well. Pinterest is seeing an increase in searches for "support small businesses," "eco-friendly living," "sustainable gifts," and "zero waste products" amidst COVID-19.
