Emma Stone Has Been a Delight at Every Oscars She's Attended Since 2012

One of the best parts about the Oscars every year is seeing all the stars rub elbows on Hollywood's biggest night. Among the most reliable icons of the red carpet is Emma Stone, who's been serving up flawless glam looks since her Oscar debut back in 2012. Nominated for the third time this year — this time for best supporting actress for her role in period dramedy The Favourite — Stone will be hitting the Oscars red carpet again this year on Feb. 24. Stone arrived at the 84th Academy Awards as a first-time presenter. For her first ever Oscars appearance, she chose a vivid red Giambattista Valli gown with a huge bow halter neck.

Backstage during the 2015 broadcast, Stone had a giddy moment with Julianne Moore, who won best actress that evening for Still Alice. In fact, there was more to this sweet celebration than just two nominees cheering each other on. The pair actually played mother and daughter in 2011's rom-com Crazy, Stupid, Love.

A year after winning the best actress trophy, Emma returned to the broadcast to fulfil the traditional role of best actress winners: presenting at the next ceremony. Instead of introducing the best actor nominees and presenting to eventual winner Gary Oldman, she was tapped to present the best director award to Guillermo del Toro for The Shape of Water.
