Emma Stone Has Been a Delight at Every Oscars She's Attended Since 2012

Alongside Ben Stiller, she presented the award for visual effects to the team from Hugo.

One quick dress change later, Stone was a guest at the biggest Oscar party in Hollywood. Hosted by Graydon Carter, the Vanity Fair party is the legendary glam after-party.

Backstage during the 2015 broadcast, Stone had a giddy moment with Julianne Moore, who won best actress that evening for Still Alice. In fact, there was more to this sweet celebration than just two nominees cheering each other on. The pair actually played mother and daughter in 2011's rom-com Crazy, Stupid, Love.

She and her La La Land costar, Ryan Gosling, paired up for an onstage moment.

Emma got a front-row seat, naturally.

At the 89th Academy Awards, Emma went in as the favourite for best actress for playing Mia in the musical La La Land. Her triple-threat performance was enough to win her the big prize on only her second nomination ever.

She posed for the traditional group photo with fellow winners Mahershala Ali, Viola Davis, and Casey Affleck.

Not only did Emma have the dream come true of winning an Oscar, but she was presented with the award by many a millennial woman's first crush: Leonardo DiCaprio. The ceremony continue the longstanding tradition of having the previous year's winner for best actor present the best actress award; Leo had (finally!) won an Oscar in 2016 for The Revenant.

A year after winning the best actress trophy, Emma returned to the broadcast to fulfil the traditional role of best actress winners: presenting at the next ceremony. Instead of introducing the best actor nominees and presenting to eventual winner Gary Oldman, she was tapped to present the best director award to Guillermo del Toro for The Shape of Water.

She took a step back after awarding him his statuette.

Stone has brought her brother, Spencer Stone, to the red carpet on a number of occasions.
