Katy Perry just won't let her feud with Taylor Swift [7] die. During American Idol [8] on Sunday night, the singer seemed to throw subtle shade at her former friend when a contestant revealed that he looks up to Taylor. "I'm sorry for this, Katy," he said before revealing he's a Swiftie. After gushing about how much he loves the "Delicate [9]" singer, Katy quipped that she loves Taylor as well . . . as a songwriter.

Even though Katy's comment isn't exactly a dig at Taylor, the two certainly have a history of bad blood. While the Grammy-winning singer subtly referenced their feud in her "Look What You Made Me Do [10]" music video, Katy had no qualms addressing the whole thing during Carpool Karaoke [11] with James Corden on The Late Late Show in 2017. Katy even officially "forgave" Taylor [12] last year, but it seems she wasn't ready to bury the hatchet [13], after all. Catch the awkward American Idol clip above.
