Liam is said to be the inspiration behind "Wrecking Ball," the 2013 hit song by his ex-fiancée Miley Cyrus. The pop ballad, which included lyrics like "Don't you ever say I just walked away / I will always want you / I can't live a lie / running for my life / I will always want you," was literally everywhere — it burned up the Billboard charts, and the now-infamous video (in which Miley swung around nude on a giant wrecking ball) won video of the year at the 2014 VMAs. Needless to say, Liam probably had a hard time avoiding it.
