A former child star (who you may have seen in The Golden Compass or Never Let Me Go) Charlie Rowe was also one of the front-runners for the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War and the many other MCU movies that followed. After narrowly losing out to fellow Brit Tom Holland, Charlie instead went on to land roles in projects like Vanity Fair, Salvation, and Rocketman.
