As a young woman in Hollywood, Brigette knows what sort of roles people expect her to play and how people expect her to dress and act — but she doesn't care about Hollywood's rules. "What I find so special about acting — especially being female in this world, and growing up with such intense standards of how you should be — is that you can break those rigid models," she told Dazed. "I love playing an old witch or a young boy. When I was younger, I would always volunteer to play the male lead. I realised, at a young age, there's something special about breaking expectations."
