Alexandra Shipp

"After her feature film debut as Kimberly Woodruff in 2015's 'Straight Outta Compton,' Shipp has had no trouble booking roles. Her biggest, and most lucrative, so far is that of the weather-controlling Storm in the X-Men franchise. She inherited the part from Halle Barry for 2016's 'X-Men: [Apocalypse]' and reprised the role in 'X-Men: Dark [Phoenix].' Outside of the franchise, she's had significant roles in 'Love, Simon' and Netflix original film 'Dude,' and will appear in the upcoming Netflix film 'All the Bright Places.'" — Forbes
