Dominique had minor television appearances on Cinemax's The Knick and Showtime's The Affair in 2014, as well as FX's The Americans, CBS's Blue Bloods , and USA Network's Royal Pains in 2015. During the latter year, she became a series regular on HBO's Show Me a Hero, portraying Billie Rowan.
Her breakout role on the small screen came in 2017 when she played Darlene Pickett on HBO's The Deuce (catch a glimpse of her at the 1:35 mark in the clip above). Shortly after, she starred as a younger version of JAY-Z's mother in the Brooklyn-born rapper's music video for "Smile." The following year, Dominique earned a recurring role on HBO's sketch comedy show Random Acts of Flyness.
