At 15 years old, Jennette McCurdy was the eldest of the iCarly web show trio. Prior to the series, McCurdy made numerous television appearances on a variety of shows like Malcolm in the Middle and Will & Grace. Two years before she made audiences laugh as Sam Puckett on iCarly, McCurdy landed a small role on Zoey 101 as Trisha Kirby, a troublemaking student at Pacific Coast Academy.
