Some Good-Natured Ribbing From Her Friend Alan Carr

If we had to choose a second act for An Audience With Adele, it would absolutely be her long-time friend Alan Carr. The comedian's first appearance was during his Q&A moment, when he asked Adele, "If one of your exes wrote a song about you, what would it be called and what would it sound like?"

Adele's response? She joked, "It'd probably be called 'No One Like You', I imagine," but added that none of them would actually be able to pull it off anyway.

Carr's second performance came shortly after. And yes, we do say performance, because when Adele had to dash off stage to touch up her makeup following the reunion with her former teacher, Carr took to the stage to belt out one of her hits — unsuccessfully and with a heavy dose of humour that only made him even more endearing and the show feel more intimate.
