Strong and Wall welcomed a second daughter named Clara sometime in 2019. In a June 2020 interview with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, Strong said he had spent quality time with his wife and kids during the COVID-19 pandemic. "As you know, when you're an actor and you're away a lot, you're sort of half there and half somewhere else, so this has been a real gift in terms of an opportunity to be really fully here with my family," he said.
Strong opened up about his kids again while making an appearance on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" in October 2020. The actor was showing off his necklace that a jeweler in London had made for him when he revealed that the necklace featured a few nods to his daughters. "On the back is my daughter [Ingrid]'s footprint," he said. "And then [for] my other daughter, I've got a bell. Her name is Clara and the bell felt sort of clear and shining and bright, which is what her name means."
