Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman

As Jesse, Paul is confirmed to be the lead of El Camino, taking over the reins from Bryan Cranston. He produces and voices the character of Todd on BoJack Horseman, and he starred in the Hulu drama The Path as Eddie from 2016 to 2018. Paul is also slated to join the cast of Westworld in its upcoming season.

Charles Baker as Skinny Pete

Baker is the only cast member, aside from Paul, who has been publicly confirmed to be part of the movie. He had a three-episode arc on NBC's The Blacklist and has otherwise been tackling a slew of guest roles.

Larry Hankin as Old Joe

In a new teaser trailer released by Netflix on Monday, Sept. 30, it was confirmed that Larry Hankin is reprising his role as Old Joe. In the trailer, titled "Go For Joe", the Rocker Salvage owner is watching a news update calling for Jesse Pinkman's capture when his office phone rings, and it sounds like it's Pinkman on the phone, asking for Joe's help yet again.

Matt Jones as Badger

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Jones will reprise his role in the movie [4]. Jones's post-Breaking Bad career has been widely varied, although he's focused more on TV than on film. From 2013 to 2019 (except a couple of seasons off), he had a main role as Baxter on the CBS sitcom Mom. He also voiced Hector on Sanjay and Craig and has lent his voice to several other animated series in the past few years.

Jonathan Banks as Mike

Banks is one of the actors who's stayed in the Breaking Bad family. Since 2015, he's been part of the core cast of the spinoff Better Call Saul. He's also done voice work for the animated series Skylanders Academy and Tangled: The Series, along with the occasional film appearance, though nothing as high-profile as Breaking Bad.

Krysten Ritter as Jane

Here's where the speculations start. Aside from Paul and Baker, no actors have been officially confirmed to appear in the movie. Ritter's Jane is one of the most likely candidates to return and was part of a rumoured cast leak several months back. Ritter, of course, is currently best known for her role as Jessica Jones in the Netflix series and its superhero team-up The Defenders.

Jesse Plemons as Todd

Although Plemons reportedly just barely missed out on a role in the new Star Wars trilogy, his career over the past several years has been quite successful nonetheless. He got an Emmy nomination for his work in the second season of Fargo, then received another nomination two years later for his episode of Black Mirror. Over on the film side of things, he had supporting roles in some major releases, including The Post and Vice.

Robert Forster as Ed the Disappearer

Forster, who may reprise his award-winning guest spot as the Disappearer, has continued to work quietly and steadily since Breaking Bad ended. Notable roles include a supporting role in Olympus Has Fallen and its sequel London Has Fallen, as well as roles on Last Man Standing and the revival of Twin Peaks.

Tess Harper as Mrs. Pinkman

With Jesse Pinkman apparently the protagonist of the new film, it does make sense that his family would be part of it, too. Harper, who appeared in the first three seasons of Breaking Bad as Mrs. Pinkman, has stuck mostly to guest work in the years since, filming episodes of Criminal Minds [5] and How to Get Away With Murder along with some lower-profile films.

Bryan Cranston as Walter White

This is the big one. Despite (six-year-old spoiler alert!) Walter's death in the 2013 finale of Breaking Bad, rumours continue to swirl that Cranston might make an appearance of some kind in the movie version. The nature of that appearance — if it exists at all — is still a total secret.

Since Breaking Bad wrapped, Cranston has been keeping busy as one of the most in-demand actors in showbiz. He's done significant work on stage, winning two Tonys (for 2014's All the Way and 2019's Network), as well as starring in HBO's adaptation of the former play. Cranston has also expanded his horizons with voice work in the family films Kung Fu Panda 3 and Isle of Dogs.
