When I was 13 years old, the biggest competition I faced was my middle school clique rivaling to have the most charms on our bracelets, but things are a lot different for Kennedy Holmes, who had all FOUR judges on The Voice [1] fighting to have her on their team. During Monday night's blind auditions, the 13-year-old star [2] from St. Louis, MO, performed a jaw-dropping rendition of Adele's "Turning Tables," [3] where Adam Levine, Jennifer Hudson [4], Kelly Clarkson [5], and Blake Shelton all turned around for her. She was the first four-chair turn of this season thus far, and it's no secret why: this girl is so freaking talented.
But her impressive performance wasn't even the best part about her audition — the moment Hudson started speaking, Holmes burst into tears, explaining that one of her first-ever performances was of Hudson's "I Am Changing" hit. And just like that, Hudson grabbed a mic and joined Holmes on stage for one of the most incredible blind auditions [6] this series has ever seen. Watch the video above and see why Shelton called Holmes "the greatest artist of all time."
