Movies to Watch on Galentine's Day

15 Galentine's Day-Approved Movies You and Your BFFs Can Watch on Netflix

There's no better day to watch the best movies about female friendship than on Galentine's Day, right? The holiday, which was created by Amy Poehler's character Leslie Knope on a particularly wonderful episode of Parks and Recreation, is all about celebrating the women in your life. According to Leslie, the day before Valentine's Day isn't just Feb. 13 but Galentine's Day, which is all about "ladies celebrating ladies, like Lilith Fair minus the angst," rather than romancing your significant other.

From giving each other heartfelt gifts to throwing full-on parties, there's no wrong way to show your besties some love. But if you guys are opting for a cosy night in with some wine, movies, and plenty of popcorn, we have a few suggestions for you. (And they're all available on Netflix!) From feel-good comedies to dramas to even a horror movie, check them all out ahead.
