The Cast of A Quiet Place 2 Is So Good You'll Probably Scream, but We Don't Recommend It

The sequel to A Quiet Place is shaping up. Not only have we gotten a May 2020 release date and some details about where the plot is heading — Evelyn (Emily Blunt) and her kids will run into a few survivors, and we'll also get some answers about those noise-driven aliens — the cast is growing by the day. Since John Krasinski's character won't be returning for obvious reasons (don't worry, he's still on board as director!), the studio is bringing in some fresh faces to join Blunt and her young costars. Emily Blunt as Evelyn Abbott

The Mary Poppins Returns actress will reprise her role as Abbot matriarch Evelyn, who will do anything to keep her children safe.

Millicent Simmonds as Regan Abbott

The talented young Andi Mack actress is coming back to play Evelyn's eldest child, Regan, who has a few close calls in the first film.

There's no word yet on who the Peaky Blinders star will be playing, but since he's equally talented at portraying charming good guys as he is chilling villains, we're excited to see how he fits into the equation.
