The Society on Netflix Cast

The Cast of Netflix's The Society Is Full of Talented Newcomers

When Netflix's supernatural thriller/teen drama The Society debuts on May 10, it won't just be the series that's debuting: for many of its cast members, this will be their first high-profile project. While a handful of the actors are definitely faces you'll recognise, several of them are new to projects of this scale. The show focuses on a group of wealthy teenagers who find themselves mysteriously transported to an eerie alternate version of their town, without their families anywhere to be found. Click through to find out more about the show's bright new stars — you'll definitely be hearing more about them soon!

Gideon Adlon as Becca

Adlon, who is the daughter of Emmy winner Pamela Adlon, has her first series regular role as Becca on The Society. Prior to this, she guest-starred on shows like Girl Meets World and American Crime and had roles in a handful of movies, including Blockers.

Sean Berdy as Sam

Although most of The Society's cast is filled with relative newcomers, fans of teen dramas will probably recognise the actor playing Sam: Berdy spent six years playing Emmett on ABC Family's Switched at Birth.

Kristine Froseth as Kelly

Norwegian actress Froseth, who's playing Kelly, is a relative newcomer to American screens, but she won't be for long. In addition to The Society, she's co-starring in the upcoming miniseries adaptation of John Green's YA novel Looking For Alaska.

Grace Victoria Cox as Lexie

Set to play Lexie, Cox's most recent project was as Veronica in the controversial Paramount Network remake of Heathers in 2018. She's not backing away from controversial projects, either: she plays Carol in the just-released Ted Bundy drama Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile.

Alex MacNicoll as Luke

MacNicoll, who plays Luke on The Society, has popped up on a wide array of projects over the course of his career. He appeared in two episodes of 13 Reasons Why as Peter, and he played the teenage version of Dick Cheney in the Oscar-nominated film Vice.

Olivia DeJonge as Elle

The Australian actress, set to play the role of Elle, is mostly a fresh face to American audiences. Her most notable credit to date is as Alice Burbage in the TNT historical drama Will.

Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Helena

Bordizzo's role as Helena will be the model/actress's first role as a series regular. She's appeared in an array of action films, as well as in a minor role in The Greatest Showman.

Salena Qureshi as Bean

Prior to playing The Society's Bean, Qureshi has appeared both on stage — most notably in Superhero — and on screen. Her credits include a guest arc on Madam Secretary and, hilariously, an uncredited appearance as "Screaming Girl #2" in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Rachel Keller as Cassandra

Keller, who's taking on the role of Cassandra, is probably the most recognisable cast member on The Society. She played Syd Barrett, the leading lady on FX's superhero drama Legion and also had an arc on Fargo in 2015.

Kathryn Newton as Allie

Newton's role as Allie comes right on the heels of her buzzy role as Abigail in Big Little Lies. And that's not the only big-name project on her résumé: her Supernatural arc led to the (abandoned) spinoff Wayward Sisters, she starred as Amy March in the most recent Little Women miniseries, and she has a major role in the Pokémon Detective Pikachu movie.

Alex Fitzalan as Harry

Fitzalan, who plays Harry, has a shorter résumé than some of his costars. His biggest credit to date is a role in the 2018 horror film Slender Man.
