Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, and More: Here's Everyone Who Is on Board For Top Gun 2

We're getting even closer to the Top Gun sequel! The film, which is titled Top Gun: Maverick, won't hit theatres until July 12, 2019, but filming is already underway. While Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer are set to reprise their roles from the original movie, there are a few exciting new additions to the cast. Tom Cruise

The actor is reprising his role as pilot Maverick.

Teller will be playing the son of Anthony Edwards's character, Goose, who was Maverick's wingman.

Kilmer will reprise his role as Maverick's rival pilot, Iceman.

Jennifer Connelly

Cruise recently confirmed that Connelly will be joining the sequel, though he didn't give any details as to who she'll be playing. "When you see the film, you'll see why she's perfect for it," the actor told Entertainment Tonight. "She has such a very talented, very vibrant, and, you know, see we're just going to have a great cast."
